This article is about the international version of the new diagnostic service-DiagBox. It is a product of iMinds, an enterprise focused on research and intelligence. The service offers risk assessment for various illnesses that are suited to each need, including cancer, psychosis, or Alzheimer's. Thanks to its mobility and accessibility across platforms, DiagBox can be used on mobile phones or tablets as well as on PCs with access to the internet. The first "free" test offered by DiagBox can detect whether someone has depression or not. At the beginning of each month, participants are invited to take part in a research study that takes into account their vulnerabilities for this disease. The diagnostic test is based on the results of six questionnaires that are then added to a database. If the score obtained by the user is above the threshold recommended by psychologists, he or she will receive an email message stating his or her diagnosis. The main benefit of DiagBox is in its ability to improve early detection. A low score can be sufficient to guard against future problems. However, it should be noted that therapy may still be necessary in some cases when there are other risk factors involved in mental disorders such as depression, anxiety or schizophrenia. If it is detected that the user has a predisposition to psychosis, then he or she will be directed towards participation in the latest research programme directed by Professor Gauthier at iMinds, which focuses on different aspects of mental illness. The goal here is to improve diagnosis for psychotic disorders. DiagBox is an application supported by clinical psychology, thanks to its specialised tests. These are developed by professionals who are well known inter-nationally for their contribution to the psychology of health. DiagBox was developed over several month with the help of specialists from iMinds and its academic partners at Ghent University (Belgium) and Brown University (USA). Moreover, it has been very important to iMinds to include the following features in the service:DiagBox is available in eight languages : English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Russian and Spanish. It is also available in Hungarian and Portuguese, but to access these languages you must be in Belgium or Portugal. Some countries have not yet received the application: Switzerland and Malawi. Patients may still be able to get an advanced version of DiagBox for their country via its website . The same techniques used by iMinds for this diagnostic service are employed on different platforms with social implications by other organisations. iMinds created the first Belgian digital health platform called "Change for Life" for diabetes. This social network is now supported by Belgian research funding agencies, large companies and universities. The "Change for Life" application is available on PCs, mobile phones and tablets. This application provides information to patients about the latest pharmaceutical treatments, dietetic courses and lifestyle choices. Personalisation is at the heart of this service because it allows users to share information with other patients. These efforts are all aimed at achieving better treatment outcomes in diabetes. The service also presents different scenarios that can help people realise how they can adapt their lifestyle choices to fit their situations (eg regular check-ups with a doctor, regular physical activities). cfa1e77820
